Arhimser is a luxury beachfront villa situated 20 meters away from the beach in Kahandamodara, Ranna, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka close to Tangalle. The villa has four large, air conditioned bedrooms. Each bedroom is over 40 sqm, light filled, airy, high ceilinged and spacious with ensuite. The whole villa can accommodate 8 persons. The accommodation rate includes breakfast, daily cleaning and all taxes. One extra bed can be provided in each of two rooms at an additional payment of USD 40 per bed per night. The large sliding glass windows and doors leading to the back veranda allow for a spectacular view of the sea and spacious landscaped rear garden with private swimming pool. The lounge and dining areas are also large and spacious and full of light with sea views. The entrance to the villa is via the circular driveway leading up to the porch and is surrounded by a well laid out private garden with fish pond, jasmine, exora, bougainvillea, frangipani and a vegetable and fruit plot. The villa has a modern kitchen and our excellent chef can prepare tasty Sri Lankan and western meals priced from USD 8 upwards per person for lunch or dinner. Children’s meals, light snacks and vegetarian are priced from USD 4 - 8. Guests can buy their own supplies and use the services of the chef to prepare their meals when entire villa is booked for 7 nights. A daily charge of USD 20 applies. Guests who book our villa are: 1. those that want a quite place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the tranquility of nature and chill out spending time with friends and family or 2. active guests that want to have a centrally located base in the Southern coastline of Sri Lanka from which they can undertake day trips to the various places of interest like the game parks, elephant orphanage, surf beaches, swimming with the turtles, visiting the hill town of Ella to see the nine arches bridge and waterfalls, visiting the UNESCO listed Heritage City of Galle, visiting the turtle hatcheries', dolphin and whale watching sites, bird sanctuaries and other popular spots in the neighborhood. In this situation a one or two week stay is recommended.

The villa is registered with the Sri Lanka Tourist Development Authority as a vacation rental for foreign tourists.

It is a government requirement that on arrival guests provide the staff with their passport to register their personal details.

• The two largest wild life reserves, Yala and Uda Walawe are within close proximity of the villa. UdaWalawe is a 45 minute drive and Yala is a 120 minute drive.
• The UNESCO designated Heritage City of Galle Fort is approximately a 45-50 minutes drive.
• The Bundala Bird Sanctuary is an hour's drive where elephant and a wide variety of birds can be sighted.
• Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, renowned for the several species of birds that make it their habitat is approximately a 10 minute drive.
• The cool hill country town of Ella is a 2 hour trip. The town is popular with tourists who wish to see the tea plantations, the rolling hills with its spectacular fauna and flora, mountainous jungles, waterfalls, the 9 arch railway bridge built by the British in 1921 and the walking treks to the mountains and tea plantations.
• Dolphin and whale watching sites are a 40 minute drive.
• You can swim in the Surf beach at Hiriketiya, a 40 minute drive.
• The blow hole is a 30-minute drive.
• Swim with the turtles in the popular Unawatune beach - a 60 minute drive
• The ancient 4 AD rock/cave temple painting of Mulkirigala is a 40 minute drive.
• A boat ride at dusk on the lagoon 100 metres away can be arranged where several species of bird life can be seen in large numbers. Peacocks, kingfishers, monkeys, hornbills, mongoose, moose deer, wild boar and other small mammals are frequently sighted.
• You can watch or participate with the fishermen draw their nets with the days catch or sit by the lagoon enjoying the sunset and learning the art of prawn fishing and buying fresh prawns from the fishermen.
• Visit the local markets for buying fresh organic produce and seafood and get a glimpse of village life,
• Enjoy a walk on the beach exploring the magnificent landscape and beauty of nature and amazing sunrises and sunsets.
• On a full moon night watch the turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.
